Introducing Myself

By Jill

My turn to introduce myself! My name is Jill Marie Chesrow. Most of my life I have gone by Jill but people throughout my life have called me Jill Marie which I always loved.

Once I became a Creative Memories Consultant several of my clients had the middle name Marie and we would all call each other by first and middle names, so it was Jill Marie and Donna Marie and Shelly Marie. I noticed that I really felt more alive when I used both names and I started using both more and more frequently. So now I go by both but prefer Jill Marie.

I am the youngest of four and have two amazing brothers and an incredible sister who is also a great friend. I have lived my whole life in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. My mom died kind of unexpectedly in April 2011. She was an extraordinary lady and I am forever grateful that we shared this life together as mother and daughter. My Dad misses my mom very much but he is sticking around to watch his kids and grandkids live their dreams ~ he was and still is one of the best motivational speakers around with just enough old school beliefs that it is actually comical!

I’m married to the man I started dating when I was 16 years old. Together we have two great kids, Anthony 18 years old and Gianna almost 17 years old. I always wanted to get married and have a family and I just love my life as a wife and a mother. It is so cool to see both of them blossom into amazing young adults and navigate the highs and lows of life. Now I know why it is often said that our children are some of our greatest teachers.

I wasn’t raised with a firm foundation in Religion or Spirituality but always had a fascination with God, the Universe and Mysticism. I can remember going past the Theosophical Society in Wheaton, IL and Quest Bookstore as a young child and feeling this inner knowing that somehow they were calling to me. Those were my first inklings that there was a far Wiser part of me that just knew things I didn’t understand yet.

I went into Healthcare as a Registered Nurse in 1992 and after 16 years I changed my focus to Energy Healing and other Alternative Therapy. I became a Reiki Master and Level III Reconnective Healing/Reconnection Practitioner. I have trained in LifeLine Technique, and Body Code/Emotion Code work.

I studied with Linda Howe and got certified in Reading the Akashic Records and I have studied Tarot, The Runes and other Divination tools to enhance the Intuitive information I receive when working with clients.

Shortly after having my own Reconnection (see www.thereconnection.com for more detailed information) I began channeling information about several aspects of my Soul’s Purpose. To my absolute joy it became clear that part of that includes helping others clear, balance and expand their energy field, reconnect with their True Essence and identify and align with their passions and dreams.

To bring this to a greater depth of empowerment, I became a Certified Master Soul Art Guide and a Certified Dream Builder Coach.

As if that wasn’t fantastic enough, the incredible work of Inner Alignment Mandalas came forth and unfolded in an absolute Divine way. The inspiration and channeled information that had been coming through for the past four years came into form at the vibration of I AM and finally all the pieces came together for Inner Alignment Mandalas.

From the depths of my heart I am thrilled that Michelle and I can share this powerful and beautiful vibrational alignment work with you.

And it gets even better... I have the most amazing, beautiful hairless cat! Say Hi to Bella Luna...

With Heart,
Jill Marie Chesrow

Quick Tips to Shift Your Energy

by Michelle

Have you ever had a time when you felt like your energy just wasn’t feeling right? Maybe you were extra cranky or feeling blue and there really wasn’t any reason for it and you just didn’t know why.
That happened to me last week. I wasn’t actually feeling bad realy but it seemed like things weren’t going my way. Everything that could go wrong was going wrong. Things weren’t running smoothly. I was spilling things, struggling, feeling frustrated, getting behind people who were going 10 miles under the speed limit. Hello…it was testing my patience.

I recognized that something was going on. I tried to leave my house to switch my energy, I even did a verbal coaching session with myself that actually did help my attitude but the energy still felt off.

After a couple of days of this I decided to go into my records and see what exactly was going on. As usual, the information I received was right on and helped shift my mood and my energy the very next day. Things felt back on track and I was back in the flow.
Here are some tips you can try when your energy is feeling a little out of whack. Some are for your home and others are for you personally.

1.      Clean and organize- Pick a spot in your house that could use a some help and give it a little makeover. It may be the place you spend the most time in or the place you’ve neglected lately. It could be as simple as cleaning out a drawer or cleaning your blinds. It’s not about perfection, only progress. Ask yourself what would make this room/house feel the best today?

2.      Open your windows and doors- Let the fresh air in and get the energy moving in your house. If it’s cold out, you can do it for a couple of minutes. Think about what you do when you burn something in your kitchen. You open up the doors and windows and fan the smoke out. Imagine you are fanning in nice, fresh energy.

3.      Light some sage-Sage is great to clear the energy. There doesn’t have to be any special kind of ritual. Just light it, walk around your room and allow the smoke to drift into all the corners. For an added boost you can also express gratitude as you sage your house.

4.      Jump in the shower- Sometimes a quick shower can get you in touch with your body and shift your energy. Imagine any stress or tension being washed away and going down the drain.

5.      Head outside for nature time- Involve all of your senses when you spend time in nature especially if you only have a short time. Breathe in the fresh air, hear the birds and animals, feel the warmth of the sun or the cool breeze. Feel yourself connecting with the warm, grounding energy of the earth.

6.      Finish what you start- Before heading onto a new task be sure to complete the one you started. Energy can get muddled when there are several different projects up and running at the same time. Just do a quick check in with yourself before jumping into something new. Ask yourself, “Is there anything that needs to be finished before I start this?”

Do you have any things you like to do to shift your energy? We would love to hear them.

4 Essentials To a Daily Alignment Practice

By: Jill

Jill's Altar

Having a Daily Alignment Practice is essential for living a balanced life. When we are in alignment with our Authentic Self life just flows better and Intuition is at an all time high.

Because we live in a third dimensional world that isn't all sunshine and roses we need a clear open channel with our Divine Guidance. Then we can navigate the terrain and go through the day with as much clarity, focus, ease and grace as we are able to allow into our lives.

That is exactly what a Daily Practice allows us to do.

I'll be honest and share that I am a bit of a rebel in this regard. I kind of fought having a daily practice because I didn't want to HAVE to do something...I want to WANT to do something.

I still have to deal with this aspect of myself from time to time as it will tell me that I am beyond the need for a daily practice and I can stay in alignment just by "Being". If this works for you...GREAT :) For me, not so much!

I totally get that for some of us it will take some effort to get in the habit of having a Daily Practice.

Keep in mind though that just as we wouldn't brush our teeth once and figure we are done for life, or shower only once a month and be done with it, it is the same for keeping our body, mind and spirit clear and balanced, and for most of us that requires a daily practice.

Personally ~ when I fall away from doing my Daily Practice it isn't long before a fog sets in and I get crabby, forgetful, easily distracted and disconnected from my Intuitive Self. The Divine Guidance that I have gotten so used seems to fad away.

That is why it is essential for me have a practice in my day and I encourage everybody that feels the Call within to start one ASAP :)

Whether you are just developing your own Daily Alignment Practice, getting back to one you already had in place, or looking to tweak your current one keep these elements in mind as you want to tap into these key areas:

1. Body ~ movement is important as well as proper rest and nutrition. For those of you that aren't too keen on exercising, up until now, start slowly and build up. Simply going for a walk or dancing to some fun music for 5 minutes is better than doing nothing!

Nutrition plan need some improvement? How about adding one "healthy" thing to your meal plan and drinking one extra glass of water a day?

2. Mind ~ Reading as little as one inspirational or motivational paragraph a day feeds the Mind. Have some time in your car driving to work or doing errands? Listening to some educational or inspirational audios keeps the mind focused and expanding.

3. Spirit ~ Unplugging from the external world and plugging into your Authentic Nature is like recharging your batteries. It is essential to fill yourself up with your Life Force energy to go throughout your day. As little as 5 minutes a day is life changing! Even 90 seconds in the morning, afternoon and evening does wonders and remember, Consistency is key.

4. Shadow work ~ At least weekly do a check in with yourself. How did the week go? Were you present and on task or were you hurried and irritable? Anything come up that weighs heavy on your mind? Awareness builds consciousness and once you are aware of something you can make changes if needed. There are so many tools available to help you move through the areas of your life that are no longer working for you.

Do you have a Daily Alignment Practice that you love? We would love to hear what that looks like for you!

If you don't have one yet and feel that it is important to begin one ~ what is one thing you can start to incorporate into your daily life today?

Make it fun and enjoyable and please leave a comment below and let us know what is going on for you!

Introducing Myself

by Michelle

Hi everyone,
I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and help you get to know me a little. Jill and I want to create a strong community and in order to do that you need to know who you are communing with right?

My name is Michelle Lynn Pulice Geoffroy. I am an only child who grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I always had this deep spiritual yearning, even as a child. I used to read my cousin’s children’s bibles for fun.
I was raised to be strong tough though so I became strong and tough.  I was known as the mouth because I was loud, always had something to say and there was little filter. In fact, I’m still pretty much like that but I am a little softer and have learned to filter.
I was married when I was just 20, had two children and was divorced by 23. I found myself a single mom raising two boys. Fortunately I found who I like to call “the good husband” when my children were just 1 ½ and 2 ½. I still can’t believe my luck. Ed stepped right in and loved me and my boys like no one else ever has.
Don't those boys look happy? :o)
We were married in 1996 and we ended up having three more boys…yes, I have 5 boys. My oldest is 20 and my youngest is 10. They are such beautiful boys and not to brag but I think I will, they are the sweetest, kindest, most well behaved boys you have ever met. I can’t believe how lucky I am!
From left to right: Dallas (20), Devin (14), Aidan (10), Liam (11)
Cody (19) & his girlfriend Julie
The path that brought me to I AM is a long and winding road that required a lot of healing. I first started having physical issues around 1998 after my third son was born. I went the traditional medical route looking for help and was unable to find any. In 2003 I found myself in the hospital. I spent a few days there and when I left I had absolutely no idea what was wrong with me. That began my quest to heal myself.
I started reading every book I could find about alternative medicine, I became a trained hypnotherapist, Reiki practitioner, Holistic Health Coach, and Emotional Release Practitioner. Each program healed me and I found myself feeling stronger and stronger.
It was in 2010 I was confronted with the realization that my true passion was art. I had been at a networking event and a woman introduced herself to me as an artist and the words, “That’s what I should have done” poured out of me. It was a turning point in my life.
Shortly after I started my blog The Creative Healing Studio and started taking online classes, journaling classes, and going to retreats. I was feeling alive and for the first time understood what people meant when they said they were passionate about something.
Last year I signed up for Laura Hollick’s Soul Art Certification and while in the class I met my wonderful business partner Jill. We couldn’t believe it when we realized we were just 45 minutes away from each other and we started meeting for coffee to talk about our goals and dreams.
Jill is an amazing intuitive energy worker and she worked with me energetically. I really feel the reconnective healing and personal reconnection she did with me helped to open me up and move me to the next level on my journey.
Once open I was able to connect with her and myself at a more spiritual level. Everything I had been working towards over the last 12 years was coming together.
The birth of I AM was so amazing. Everything seemed to just flow and come together effortlessly and for the first time I understood what it meant to be in partnership with spirit.
It’s been an amazing journey to get to this point and the greatest thing is that I am still going forward. I am still learning, improving and getting better every day.
