Embracing Blue ~ A Peek Inside My Intuitive Process

By Jill Marie Chesrow

I just loved our first online workshop Emerge, not only as a co-creator of it but also going through it with such wonderful participants.  There is something about the Group Energy that brings life to a whole new level ;)

Michelle and I had gone through the process prior to the group class and I got some wonderful insight and many shifts started taking place in my life.  My original plan for the group class was to go through the class like a participant and create a new mandala along with everybody else,  but instead I was guided to create a Mandala Crystal Grid for the class, do daily energy work on behalf of all those that were aligned with that,  and share the messages coming through.  I LOVED doing that even though it wasn't part of the original plan.  Being open and flexible to guidance coming through is essential to living a more Intuitive based life.

After one of the group energy sessions, I was then guided to go through the process again and I created another Emerge Mandala.  Just like the first time I went through it, I got a lot of insight from the process,  and  from the symbolic images and phrases that were chosen.

Days after I still felt like there was a message I was missing and I kept seeing the mandala in my mind's eye and the blue was jumping out at me...almost as if it was calling my name.

Hmmmm what message did Blue have for me I wondered?  Then I began to hear "Embracing Blue".  So off I went on a journey to Embrace Blue and see what my Higher Self was telling me beyond the initial insight I received

To help me Embrace Blue I actually went and got a pedicure and chose blue nail polish that matched the blue in my mandala!  I like to have fun in life and I wanted to be a detective when I was younger so what better way to make this a fun adventure, and honestly I needed that daily reminder to Embrace Blue and I knew every time I looked at my toes it would remind me ;)

Embracing Blue Reminder,  Blue Toenail Polish :)

I started with the obvious...what meaning does the color blue have? For that I love the site http://www.color-wheel-pro.com/color-meaning.html

Blue Color  Blue

Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability (side note....Stability is huge for me this year as I am in my 4th year of my 9 year cycle) It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.
Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body. It slows human metabolism (I wasn't happy to read that part...lol) and produces a calming effect (that part I liked :) Blue is strongly associated with tranquility and calmness. In heraldry, blue is used to symbolize piety and sincerity.
Blue is linked to consciousness and intellect.
Blue suppresses appetite (thank God!)
Light blue is associated with health, healing, tranquility, understanding, and softness.

That gave me a good base and also confirmed some of the insight I had already received.  I also felt very called to explore the Water Element.  I do Elemental Healing so perhaps I was being called to do some healing in that element???  So I did a quick check in and sure enough I was ready to do some "healing" and releasing in this element.  This was getting better than I imagined ;)

Healing and releasing in the Water Element is associated with Flow, movement, transformation, adaptation and acceptance   There are 53 trapped emotions that I work with in the Water Element and aspects of all 53 were cleared via one of the healing modalities that I have been trained in.  I felt so much lighter!

Then I did a quick check in again...was there more information to be revealed?  Yup it was time to look at the 5th Chakra.  I ended up clearing the excesses and deficiencies in my Throat Chakra and balancing it (The color is Light Blue in case you didn't know)  Once I was done doing that I knew what I was being guided to do next.

If you know me well  you can probably guess what I was guided to do...

Did you guess create a Mandala Crystal Grid?

Center Stone:  Celestite
Outer Stones:  Blue Lace Agate, Lapis Lazuli, Sodalite, Lapis Lazuli, Angelite, Lapis Lazuli, Blue Chalcedony, Lapis Lazuli

There is still more information coming through as well as inspired action steps that I will want to take but you get the idea.

Our Intuition speaks to us all the time.  You just need to learn the symbolic language of your Soul.

How does your Intuition communicate with you?

What are you being guided to embrace in your life?

The Birth of Emerge

By: Michelle

I was talking to a friend the other day and explaining the origins of the Emerge class and it occurred to me that you might enjoy hearing about it too.

Jill & I were wanting to offer something to all of you lovely people in our community. We weren't exactly sure what it was going to be so I decided to go into the Akashic Records and ask for guidance.

It always amazes me how powerful and beautiful the messages are for me in the records and this day was no different. The idea for Emerge flowed through me in the most amazing way.

The meditation was so powerful and I could feel the energy surging through me. When it was complete I was completely energized, excited and inspired to share this with all of you so you could experience it too.

The process of creating the mandalas was so fun and I was deep in the creative flow, just playing around with art supplies like I did when I was a kid. The whole process was just... FUN!

Jill was creating a mandala too and when we met to discuss the experience we were so thrilled at the amazing and deep insight we received from our mandalas and we knew even more strongly that we had to share it.

Jill is such an expert in the energetic world and that expertise helped to anchor that energy and keep it flowing and I just knew something so cool was happening.

It's times like these that I am so grateful for learning how to partner with the Universe to allow such amazing gifts to flow through me. And I am so grateful for Jill's talents, wisdom, and her incredibly strong connection to Spirit to create something completely awesome.

Emerge is starting on Monday, April 22nd. I would love to invite you to join us on this journey because I truly believe it is an amazing process!

Are You Listening?

By Jill Marie (re-posted from my Journey To Empowerment Blog February 2012)

A bit back one of my friends/clients told me that while she was all tucked in  bed ready for a good night sleep she heard clearly…”go and check the windows” (or maybe it was close the windows.)  Her husband was out-of-town and she was home with her  young children.  Being tapped into her Intuition was not new to her.  Her connection wasn't as strong as it had been before marriage and kids but she was still pretty tapped in.  After having a few Reconnective Healing sessions and her Personal Reconnection she was having more and more experiences of hearing her Inner Wisdom.  But she was really comfy in bed and tired and decided not to get up and check.
The next day she remembered and checked the windows and sure enough three of them were unlocked so she locked them.  That night in the wee hours one of her dogs was barking which is unusual.  I think she also said she may have heard something outside.  Wow how wonderful that she listened and then took action…even if it was the next day!  I lovingly reminded her how important it is to listen to that inner voice.
Well…I might want to practice what I talk about in my own life!  I was in Target with my daughter picking up a few items.  I found myself in the lighting section looking at floor lamps.  I don’t know why…I was drawn to them like a magnet.  I thought I might get one for my daughter’s room even though she didn’t need one but then I started looking at the blue ones and thought of my son.  In fact he needed a new light for his room and his birthday was coming up in two days.  "No"…I thought,  that is a dumb present for an 18 year old!  But I still felt like I should get him a light.  Again I thought "no waste of money"…(something I am working on by the way...sticking to a budget).  That night it popped into my head to bring up a floor lamp from my workshop and put it in his room.  Problem solved ~ I don’t spend money not in my budget and he gets a light that he needs.
I got distracted and didn't do it.  I still had a weird feeling that I should do it…but I didn't   Two days later I was back in Target and again was drawn to the lights.  Now it was my son’s birthday and I was sure his light had to be replaced… forgetting that I would bring up one from the workshop I picked up the light  to put it in my cart…then a  flash of my workshop lamp came to mind.  I laughed out loud (thankfully nobody else was around me) and put the lamp down.  I was sure I would change lights when I got home as it must be really important that I do that.
Yikes forgot again!  A few hours later we smelled a horrible smell coming from upstairs…my daughter was in the shower and I knew she had her iPod docking station next to the tub…I was afraid water got on it and there was a problem. Even as I went to check her I heard a voice say…”its the light".   The awful smell was coming from my son’s room and it was indeed his floor lamp.  I don’t know that it was smoking but it was hotter than the oven and the smell was literally making everybody feel nauseated and sick.  When I moved the lamp the light-bulb cracked but thankfully  it didn't shatter.
It took about 3 minutes to remove the light and bring up the other one.  3 minutes!  Instead of doing it when I was guided to…I kept pushing it aside.  Now we were all feeling ill from the awful smell albeit grateful that a fire didn't start or the bulb explode and hurt somebody.
How humbling!  How often do I tell my clients one thing and then not follow that in my own life!  Okay Inner Wisdom…I am paying more attention and yes I will take action
Story not over though.   This past Sunday I went to an all day Wellness event.  I really felt called to go for several reasons.  The rational part of me said "No…waste of money",  but that Inner Wisdom was gently saying that I was supposed to be there.  I sent an SOS to two of my friends that are helping me not make purchases not in my budget.  I heard what they said and was so grateful for their insight and for a bit I was sure I would not go…but the feeling urging me to go was so similar to the light experience above.  I decided to follow my Inner Guidance and go,  and you know…it was AMAZING and just what I needed.  I met the most wonderful people, got a Chiropractic adjustment from a B.E.S.T practitioner, opened my Throat Chakra a bit more and loved the whole day!  I found out they even have Bellydancing classes!  Something I have jokingly said I wanted to do for the past few years but secretly really would love to do just for the fun of it :)
How often do you hear that still small voice and then don’t listen?
How often do you hear it and listen and then take the action?
Let’s celebrate that Inner  Wisdom in all of us today and continue to make a conscious choice to listen more often and take the inspired action!

Follow Your Inner Wisdom

From: Jill

One of the things I love the most about life and know that it is key to living joyfully and empowered , is deepening my Intuition.  Just knowing there is a Wiser part of me, a part that is guiding and directing me,  is such a comforting feeling.

The truth is…this Guidance I get isn't  always something I am actually comfortable with,  and honestly it doesn't always make sense in the moment...

Developing a deep sense of Trust and having an Open Mind, with the right amount of Discernment is Key to living in the flow.

That flow is the balance between the rational mind and the intuitive mind.  The right and left brain, the masculine and feminine aspects of our  being.

When I embarked on my journey to become a Certified Soul  Art Guide my rational mind was telling me it just didn't make sense, but my Intuition was ever so gently whispering in my ear “Go this way, trust me."

But I was afraid.  My rational mind said I didn't have the money in my bank account to get another certification, or the time with two kids in High School and  each very involved in their sports, but I knew in my heart something was calling me to Trust the Intuitive Guidance I was receiving.

So I did it!  I felt the fear and did it anyways.

It was in that program where I virtually met Michelle.  We connected during one of the class assignments.  The deeper meaning of this connection was still unknown to us but we followed our initial Intuitive nudge.

During my Intensive one-on one with Laura Hollick,  while I was at Soul  Art studio in Canada, and again in a follow up mentor call,  Laura said she intuitively felt that Michelle and I would be working together on some level.

I had no idea what she meant.  It wasn't until  after those comments by Laura that Michelle and I discovered that not only did we live in the same state but that we lived only 40 minutes away from each other.

Over the next several months Inner Alignment Mandalas unfolded.

We know the work coming through us is bigger than our small selves.  It is something only this amazing Universe could have orchestrated and weaved together.

And because the Universe has a great sense of humor and loves to give us signs that we are on the right track..here are two pictures that showcase this concept perfectly.

Below is a painting Michelle had done in her FEARLESS painting class with Connie Hozvicka  of Dirty Footprints Studio that I knew nothing about.

Months later I painted a picture for the Artist ~ Healer Circle series on LilyWheel Slide with Hali Lynn Karla.

You be the judge...coincidence?

And now it comes full circle.
